In Wyoming, motorcycles are defined as motor vehicles. You have to get motorcycle registration in order to operate it on Wyoming public roads and streets, just like you would do for your car, truck or van. The process and the paperwork that you need to obtain motorcycle registration in Wyoming are basically the same as that of car registration.

The Wyoming law requires you to get motorcycle registration in order to be allowed to ride in on public roads and streets.

Differences in Motorcycle Registration

If there is going to be a difference besides the features of a license plate, it is going to be basically the amount of fees and other costs involved when registering and renewing your registration.

Basically, it won’t cost you much when registering your motorcycle in Wyoming. The county fee charged is not much compared to what you will pay when registering a car or truck.
